Consumerizing Cloud Management
Apr 1, 2016

In the future, a single company will dominate and control the cloud management ecosystem. This company will gain dominance by shifting its focus from feature-packed products so complicated that customers require PSO, and move to understanding the users needs and wants. By changing focus to users' needs this company will be able to reinvent the cloud management ecosystem, effectively commoditizing services, and driving the competition into the position of a silent partner. This system will be successful by overcoming the core challenges impacting the user’s life and build out from there.

Nov 10, 2015

IT admins tend to be project and task focused, often judged the project success as well as the number of tasks they can complete in a given time period. The problem is that it is often the one off firefighting tasks consume the majority admins time, leaving little to no time, and keeping them from moving their projects forward.  Admins need a better / faster way to process and prioritize what needs to be done, shortening the time consumed by firefighting, allowing more time to work on the projects that meet the needs of the business.

Speech interface for cloud management
Apr 7, 2015

IT professionals think in business needs, goals, requirements, and questions they want answered. They want to state this in their own language and get a response back from the system in language they can understand.

IT management systems work contrary to what users want. They don't understand users needs and can not understand the questions the user wants answered. Due to this lack of knowledge they present every control and all of the data, requiring the user to do all of the heavy lifting.
